Really enjoyed your pictures, especially the T6′s. Brought back many memories and maybe even a few scary ones! I was in one of the last pilot training classes that flew the T6 at Columbus, Mississippi in 1954/55.

Photo taken from the left forward blister of the B36 parked next to 710. (1957) Most flight crewmembers owned a motor scooter to get around the base and the ramp.

Yes, that is me, in 1957 after a very long mission from Ramey to Alaska and landing at Fort Worth, Texas. My brother, Capt. L.L. Hyde, took the picture, he was our flight surgeon and flew several trips with us.
