    If you continue down the street to the left, the base power plant will be the next building.   • Rik… those fotos were from an adventure that several of us indulged in, jumping the fence and exploring the so-called Tropical Acres housing area, also known as the FHA Housing area. it was in the playground around midnight on 1 Feb 1960 that the Col.Porterfield B-52 crashed here killing him and 6 others. Housing was last in use in early 1980s.
