Please tell me as much as possible, Ivan, regarding Foreign Trading Zones (FTZs) and their possibility for eastern Puerto Rico.
There seems to be some holdback with the Port Authority assisting Ramey on much of anything. Our association is closely aligned with northwest PR and support its economic development. Rafael Hernandez International , ne…[Read more]

Chris, I will be keeping you update on the status of FTZ. However, this is an election year at the island and government policies are like waves in the ocean. They come and go. I will be looking forward to become a member of the Association. I always invite my friends to the museum. You can start your research on FTZ at 15 CFR Part 400, 19 CFR…[Read more]

5-17-12 I received my second response to the newspaper article. He’s a former x-ray tech and his son is a Casino Baby. Wow, if everyone has this kind of action imagine our membership and the storys we’ll hear

    • Lori Mischke

Keith, there is a tremendous interest in the Casino Babies. Ricardo awhile ago made a blog post about the Casino Babies and mercy did we get the email.
Thanks Keith for all that you are doing for Ramey!

  • We lived at Ramey Oct57 to Oct60. I was 7 when we arrived, and 10 when we left. I remember the day we landed and, sadly, the day we left. We lived on Circle D, then Borinquen Road across the street from the motor pool, the finally on M Street next to the transient aircraft parking ramp. Crash Boat, Officer’s Beach, the skating rink, little…[Read more]

For all my Ramey web friends, sorry I went off the radar screen. Got caught up in another matter. I’m seeing some good posts on the site and really looking forward to reading Ricardo’s blog post on the Boy Scouts.
Ramey Board is getting ready to meet in about 30 minutes. Since I’m the secretary I need to sharpen my pencil and get ready. …[Read more]

Today I received the first response from the article that was published in the paper. I was so happy to hear from someone in the local area. Lou Dickman’s husband was an oral surgeon at Ramey from 62-66. Her youngest daughter was born there and her other children went to school there. Very interesting lady with lots of memories. She was very…[Read more]
